The MAAA and MSHSL have jointly decided to replace the 2020-2021 Adapted Floor Hockey regular season with a training season, just like we had during adapted soccer. With COVID-19 ramping up around the state, leaders within both groups felt the best way to keep our athletes and families safe is to eliminate competitions and travel, but still allow teams to gather on their own terms, in small groups for training sessions. At this time, Governor Walz has put all youth sports on hold until mid-December, so the January 4 opening date for floor hockey is still in play. With Gov. Walz set to reevaluate things in mid-December, things certainly could change, so please keep an eye on the team website, Facebook and Twitter in addition to your emails for more information.
