The Robins moved to 3-0 on the season and are in sole posession of first place in the North Conference after a 7-3 win over the previously undefeated Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs. The Robins thoroughly controlled all aspects of the game during the first 20 minutes and took a 5-0 lead into halftime. Anoka presented a few different looks offensively in the second half and managed to put a greater level of pressure on the Robins’ defense, but never truly threatened the Robins’ lead. The Mustangs scored 3 times in the final 20 minutes of the game, but the Robins responded with 2 of their own. Sam Roles was dominant in this game, scoring 5 times. Ava Hetteen scored 1 goal and had 2 assists, while Jayda Johnson also scored 1 goal. Lucas Harper continued to make solid progress as the goalkeeper, making 13 saves and looking much more relaxed as the game went on. Edgar Kinanga blocked 6 shots defensively and Darius Larson blocked 4. The Robins are off until next Thursday when they are at home to face Mounds View.
