The Robins continued to make improvements in all aspects of their game again today, this time defeating the Mounds View Rams 13-2 in 5 innings. The Robins infield defense was sharp early in this game, preventing the Rams from advancing past second base until the fourth inning. A couple infield hits and one fielding error led to the Rams scoring two times in the fourth inning, but the Robins were extremely sharp beyond that. Consistent hitting had the Robins scoring runs in every inning, including five runs in the second inning to put them up 6-0. Izear Joiner continue to do well at the plate, going 4-4 with a home run and 2 RBI, Maddie Ausk was 3-3, Vincent Luu was 4-4 with 3 RBI, Darius Larson went 3-3 and Ethan Sullivan went 2-2 with 1 RBI. Pitcher Sam Roles gave up two runs on six hits to earn the win.
