The Robins officially have a winning streak again after picking up their second victory of the week. This time it was a hard fought game against a vastly improved Maple Grove Crimson squad who battled from start to finish and definitely were not officially out of the game until the final buzzer. The teams were tied at 1 at the end of the first period, and the Crimson held a one goal lead at two different points early in the second period before the Robins pulled ahead 6-3 by scoring 4 times in a span of 3:43. From that point on, these two teams basically just traded goals back and forth until the game came to a close and the Robins on top 9-6. The Crimson were determined to stop Vincent Luu, and held him to just 1 goal, but Luu responded nicely by contributing with 3 assists. Sam Roles carried the hot stick tonight, finding the net 6 times to go with 1 assist. Maddie Ausk and Ava Hetteen were forces to be reckoned with as well, with Ausk netting 2 awesome goals from the left wing, and Hetteen working hard on both ends of the floor and making things happen with 3 assists. Marcus Brady made 18 saves while Edgar Kinanga blocked 13 shots and Darius Larson blocked 10. The Robins wrap up the 2019 regular season next Monday at home against Mounds View.
