The Robins were on the road today to take on the defending state champion Dakota United Hawks. They had some trouble stringing multiple hits together at the plate, and simply made too many fielding errors, taking their first loss of the season by a score of 10-6. Of the 10 runs scored by the Hawks, 6 were the result of fielding errors. Aside from the errors, the Robins looked very competent and capable of beating the state champs, but they just couldn’t get the job done today. The entire team is looking forward to a potential rematch at the state tournament in a couple weeks. Jayda Johnson, Nick Johnson, Jose Leon Estrada and Junior Dockter all finished the game with 3 hits. Abbi Lashuay and Noah Mittendorff finished with 2 hits each.
