The Robins continued to roll along tonight and improved their record to 3-0 with an 11-2 win over Park Center. The Robins’ offense really found their groove tonight, scoring 4 times in the first 6:30 and took a comfortable 7-2 lead into halftime. The second half was more about the Robins’ defense, as they only allowed 5 shots on goal and held the Pirates scoreless while finding the net 4 more times themselves. Jose Leon Estrada continued his incredible scoring efforts, tallying 5 goals and 3 assists in this game. Calvin Bauman added 2 goals. Abbi Lashuay continued to show solid improvement on both ends of the floor while adding 1 goal and 2 assists. Jayda Johnson did all the little things on defense to limit any socring opportunities by the Pirates while adding 1 goal and 1 assist of her own. Micah Bomgardner and Nick Johnson also finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist each. Newcomer Jo’Vonna Shepherd got her Robins’ career off to a good start, showing great hustle while recoding 1 assist. Darius Larson blocked 5 shots while Josh Reis made 16 saves. Overall, the Robins out shot the Pirates 26-16. The Robins are now off until October 24 when the head to the Andover Community Center to face Anoka-Hennepin.

The Robins are now 2-0 after a dominating 11-1 win over the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs. Once again, it was a full team effort by the Robins with some great passing, solid defense and amazing teamwork. Jose Leon Estrada was on fire again, tallying 6 goals and 2 assists. Calvin Bauman was impressive with 2 goals and 2 assists. Jayda Johnson has 1 goal and 2 assists, while Abbi Lashuay scored her first career goal to go with 2 assists of her own. Micah Bomgardner had 1 goal while Nick Johnson and Junior Dockter both were credited with assists. Josh Reis was stellar in goal making 13 saves including a crucial stop on a penalty kick. The Robins are at home next Wednesday against Park Center. #Robination

The Robins opened the 2022 adapted soccer season with a great 9-4 win over a tough Park Center Pirates squad. The Pirates took a 1-0 lead just 7 seconds into the game and fought hard to keep the game close for the first 25 minutes. Ultimately, the Robins powerful offensive attack was too much for them to hold off. While the Robins had every player making key contributions, it was Jose Leon Estrada that carried the Robins to victory. Estrada finished the game with 6 goals and 1 assist. Jayda Johnson and Calvin Bauman were huge on the defensive side of the game and really limited the Pirates scoring opportunities. Johnson finished the game with 2 assists and Bauman finished with 1 goal and 4 assists. Micah Bomgardner had 1 goal and Nick Johnson had 1 assist. Anthony Dockter (also known as Junior) scored his first career goal and Abbi Lashuay recorded her first career assist. Josh Reis was great in the net, making 8 saves. The Robins are at home at 4:45 on Wednesday to take on Anoka-Hennepin.

The 2022 PI adapted soccer season is almost here! The Robins begin practice on Monday, September 12 at Armstrong High School. Due to new school start & end times in most of our buildings, our practices will now run from 3:45 – 5:15 and all home games will now start at 4:45. Please make sure your athlete is registered (and cleared) with the athletic office at one of our high schools before Friday, September 9 to make sure they are good to go for next week.

The registration window for the 2022 adapted soccer season is now open and we encourage all of our athletes to get registered as soon as possible! The links for the online registration process are at the bottom of this post. The 2022 adapted soccer schedule has been emailed to all returning athletes and will be posted to this webiste under the “Documents” tab shortly. Please note the new start times for practices and games, resulting from the change in school start/end times in Robbinsdale Area Schools.
