The Robins continue to work hard and make steady improvements in many areas, but have yet to pick up their first win of the season . Despite one of their better efforts so far in 2020, the Robins came up short against the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs, 8-4. The Robins trailed 2-1 after the first period and 4-2 after the second period before looking like they were going to get back into this one in the third period. Numerous offensive charges and a significant amount of pressure on the Mustangs defense yielded one goal early in the period to make the score 5-3, then Marcus Brady found the net with 4:28 remaining to make it 6-4, but that is as close as the Robins could get. Sam Roles finished the game with 2 goals and 2 assists, Ava Hetteen had 1 goal and 1 assist, Jayda Johnson had 2 assists and Nick Johnson had 1 assist. Mark Cleveland did an admirable job filling in for Edagar Kinanga in the net, making 16 saves in his first attempt at goalkeeping. Darius Larson played well and blocked 10 shots. The Robins are on the road to face Brainerd next Tuesday.
