The Robins came into this game determined to avenge their early-season loss to the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs, but found themselves struggling early before settling down and grinding out a solid 11-5 victory. Quiet bats and a few shaky defensive plays had the Robins trailing 4-0 after three innings, but five hits and three runs in the fourth inning got the entire squad going. The Mustangs answered with one run in the bottom of the fourth to take a 5-3 lead before the Robins defense got dialed in and shut them down over the final three innings. The Robins hung on to a 6-5 lead heading into the seventh inning, then erupted for six consecutive hits that scored five runs to put the game out of reach. Izear Joiner, Maddie Ausk, VIncent Luu, Edgar Kinanga, Sam Roles and Ethan Sullivan all recorded three hits apiece, with Kinanga and Lucas Harper finishing the game with 3 RBI each. Roles pitched all seven innings, allowing 3 earned runs to go with his two doubles and 2 RBI. The win catapults the Robins into first place in the North Conference with one game remaining on the schedule.
