The Robins’ winning streak hit four games with an impressive 11-0 home win over Minneapolis. This game was scoreless until the bottom of the third inning when the Robins put two of the first three batters on base before Vincent Luu drove them both in with a three-run home run. Sam Roles opened the fourth inning with a home run of his own before Nick Johnson drove Owen Karjala in with a triple, putting the Robins ahead 5-0. Seven consecutive hits to open the fifth inning put the Robins ahead 9-0, then Izear Joiner ended the game in the home half of the sixth inning with a two-run home run. Joiner had his fourth consecutive 4-4 game at the plate and has done an excellent job of finding openings in the field and hitting the ball hard. Sam Roles went 3-3 while Maddie Ausk and Vincent Luu both recorded two hits. Roles pitched all six innings, allowing just 5 hits to get the win. The Robins are on the road on May 14 to face the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs in a pivotal battle for first place in the North Conference.
