The Robins trailed early, but maintained consistent hitting and fielding in the middle innings of the game and prevailed 10-4 in a crucial North Conference match up against the Osseo Orioles. After trailing 3-0 after the first inning and 4-3 after the third, the Robins defense tightened up and shut the Orioles down for four consecutive innings. Their bats were consistent in innings three through seven, scoring at least one run in the top half of every one of those innings. Izear Joiner is nearing “red-hot” status at the plate, once again going 4-4 with 2 RBI. Ava Hetteen went 3-3 and scored three times while Edgar Kinanga, Sam Roles Marcus Brady and Darius Larson all collected 3 hits each. The Robins will look to push their winning streak to four games next Tuesday when they return home to face Minneapolis.
