The Robins picked up another great win this afternoon, defeating the South Suburban Flyers 11-3 in a non-conference match-up. A seven goal first period allowed the Robins to get everyone involved very early on, and ensured everyone was able to make a solid contribution toward the outcome of the game. A very balanced offensive attack resulted in nine different players recording points. The official box score looks like this: Vincent Luu (2G, 1 A), Calvin Gerdt (3A), Izear Joiner (2G, 1A), Sam Roles (2G, 2A), Madelyn Ausk (1G, 1A), Marcus Brady (2G), Hayley Engebretsen (1G, 1A), Brendan Bosker-Elliott (1G, 1A) and Elizabeth Neuville (1A). Edgar Kinanga and Engebretsen shared goalkeeping duties, making 11 saves. Lydia Mazza led the defense with 7 blocks, while Darius Larson had 3 blocks. The Robins are on the road for two games next week, playing at Brainerd on Monday and at Mounds View on Wednesday.
