For the second straight game, the Robins turned in an amazing, whole-team effort, this time defeating the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs, 9-0. Despite the Robins completely dominating both ends of the floor, this game was pretty tight for the first two periods. The Robins held a 2-0 lead at the end of one period, and 4-0 at the end of two periods. Hayley Engebretsen continued to hold her own in the net during the third period, while the offense was sparked by two quick goals to start the final period. Engebretsen made 19 saves to earn her first shut-out of the season. Vincent Luu once again finished the game with 3 goals, Sam Roles had 2 goals while Marcus Brady, Izear Joiner, Calvin Gerdt and Brendan Bosker-Elliott all recorded one goal each. Ethan Sullivan blocked 10 shots and Lydia Mazza blocked 5. The Robins look to keep things rolling with two home games next week, as Maple Grove visits Armstrong on Monday and South Suburban comes in for a non-conference game on Wednesday.
