Robins 11 @ Mounds View 4
The Robins were red-hot during the 2007 Adapted Floor Hockey season opener, and defeated the Mounds View Rams 11-4. Steven Halsey opened the scoring five minutes into the season on a great pass from Harrison Lerner. Halsey went on to finish the game with 5 goals and 2 assists. Lerner finished with 1 goal and 2 assists. Jenna Stolarek-Houston was also magnificent, playing solid defense while scoring 3 goals and 1 assist. Also scoring for the Robins were Jesse Klein (1 goal, 4 assists), Erin Nickell (3 assists), Brian Kraske (1 goal, 1 assist) and Cassee Cannata (1 assist). James Sneltjes played goalie for the Robins and made 34 saves.

Robins 12 vs. Wayzata-Minnetonka 1
The Robins improved to 2-0 tonight with a 12-1 victory over the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers. Steven Halsey scored the first goal of the game just 39 seconds into the first period. Jesse Klein added his first just 26 seconds later and Halsey added another goal to make it 3-0 before the game was four minutes old. Halsey finished the game with 2 goals and 1 assist, and Klein added 2 goals and 2 assists of his own. Cassee Cannata led the Robins in scoring tonight with 4 goals and 1 assist. Misha Eletsky finished with 2 goals, Jenna Stolarek-Houston finished with 1 goal and 3 assists, Brian Kraske had 2 assists, and Erin Nickell rounded out the scoring with 1 goal and 2 assists. The Robins will face their biggest challenge of the season next Tuesday when they play at the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs.

Robins 5 @ Anoka-Hennepin 3
This afternoon, the Robins played an outstanding, team oriented game, and defeated the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs 5-3. This game was a tight one from start to finish. The Robins led 1-0 after one period on an unassisted goal by Josh Klein. The game was tied at 1 heading into the third period, then Erin Nickell scored just 1:30 into the period. Anoka answered right back, tying the game at 2 just 3 minutes later. Klein struck again just 30 seconds after the Mustangs tied it up, then the Mustangs got their final goal of the game with 6:30 remaining. Jesse Klein scored the eventual game winner with 4:30 remaining and Steven Halsey added an insurance goal with :43 left in the game. James Sneltjes made many great plays, and finished with 16 saves on 19 shots. Alex Stoiaken, Keith Breding and Cassee Cannata all played quite well on defense, with Stoaiken finishing the game with 12 blocked shots.

Robins 9 vs. Maple Grove 1
The Robins improved to 4-0 tonight with a 9-1 victory over the Maple Grove Crimson. The Robins displayed their terrific teamwork and passing skills this evening, setting one another up for many great goals. The Robins were led by Josh Klein (3 G, 2 A), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (2 G), Misha Eletsky (2 G), Jesse Klein (1 G, 2 A), Cassee Cannata (1 G) and Erin Nickell (1 A). James Sneltjes made 4 saves while earning the win at goalkeeper.

Robins 13 @ White Bear Lake 0
Tonight, the Robins defeated the White Bear Lake Bears 13-0, moving their regular season record to 5-0. The Robins started a bit slow in this game, scoring just one goal in the first ten minutes of the game. Their offense came to life with 4:23 left in the first period, and scored six more goals in less than two minutes to finish the period with a 7-0 lead. Seven different players scored for the Robins, including: Jesse Klein (1 G, 5 A), Brian Kraske (2 G), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (1 G), Steven Halsey (1 G, 1 A), Misha Eletsky (2 G, 2 A), Erin Nickell (3 G, 1 A), and Josh Klein (3 G). The Robins defense was outstanding, allowing just one shot on goal, helping goalkeeper James Sneltjes earn his first shutout of the season.

Robins 5 vs. Brainerd 7
Tonight, the Robins suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of the Brainerd Warriors, 7-5. The Robins got off to a very slow start, trailing 3-0 before their offense finally started showing some signs of life. The Robins defense tightened up too, holding the Warriors to just one more first period goal, allowing them to close the score to 4-3. The Robins got one goal in the second period to tie the game at four, but the third period was all Warriors. It took Brainerd just five seconds to pull ahead 5-4, scoring off of the third period opening face-off, then added one more just 65 seconds later. Steven Halsey was the Robins leader on offense tonight, recording 2 goals and 2 assists. Josh Klein had 1 goal and 1 assist, and Jesse Klein and Harrison Lerner both added one goal each. Alex Stoiaken continued her solid play, making six stops, while James Sneltjes made 16 saves

Robins 9 vs. Mounds View 0
This game was a perfect example of what the Robins tend to do best – scoring early and often. The Robins jumped out to a 4-0 after one period, added two in the second and three more in the third to win the game 9-0. Erin Nickell led the way for the Robins with three goals and one assist. Steven Halsey finshed with two goals and Jesse Klein had one goal to go with his three assists. Also scoring for the Robins were: Josh Klein (1G, 1A), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (1G, 1A), Harrison Lerner (2 A), Keith Breding (1 G).

Robins 16 @ Wayzata-Minnetonka 3
Tonight, the Robins stayed on a roll, defeating the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers 16-3. The teams’ offense and defense have both responded well since the loss to Brainerd and appear to be back on track. The Robins led this game 7-0 after one period and continued to roll through the remaining two periods. Nine Robins recorded points tonight, including: Cassee Cannata (2G), Jesse Klein (2 G), Keith Breding (1 A), Brian Kraske (1 G), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (1 G, 4A), Steven Halsey (4G, 1A), Erin Nickell (3G, 2A), Josh Klein (2G, 2A) and Harrison Lerner (1G, 1A).

Robins 3 vs. Anoka-Hennepin 9
In a rematch of an early season battle, the Robins were out played by the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs and lost 9-3. This game was a close one for just over two periods, with the Robins trailing 4-3 heading into the third period. It was during the third period that the Robins began to tire and just could not keep up with the speed and physical style of play the Mustangs presented. Anoka-Hennepin scored three times in the first four minutes of the third period to put the game away. Jesse Klein scored twice for the Robins, while his brother, Josh Klein added one goal and one assist. Harrison Lerner recorded the only other point for the Robins with one assist. James Sneltjes faced 34 shots on goal, and Alex Stoiaken finished with 12 stops of her own on defense.

Robins 11 @ Maple Grove 1
Just one day after suffering their worst loss of the season, the Robins got back on track with an 11-1 victory over the Maple Grove Crimson. The Robins started out a bit slow, but gained momentum as the game went on. Leading 2-0 after one period, the Robins offense picked up in the second period, scoring five times. Josh Klein led the Robins with 5 goals, and Steven Halsey wasn’t far behind with three goals. Jesse Klein finished with one goal and two assists, Brian Kraske had one goal and one assist, Harrison Lerner had one goal, while Jenna Stolarek-Houston, Misha Eletsky and Erin Nickell all recorded one assist each. Alex Stoiaken played two of the three periods as goalie and picked up her first win of the season while making two saves.
