Robins 15 vs Park Center 0
The Robins got the 2006 season off to a fabulous start tonight, with a 15-0 victory over the Park Center Pirates. It didn't take long for the Robin's young roster to show that they still know how to play soccer, even without last year's strong senior leadership. The Robins led 9-0 at halftime, and really controlled the game right from the first whistle. Senior goalkeeper, Josh Klein, earned the shut out by making 10 saves. Eighth grader Erin Nickell led the Robins on offense scoring 4 goals and 2 assists, while Jesse Klein finished with 3 goals and 2 assists of his own. Also scoring for the Robins were: Cassee Cannata (2 goals), Ethan Brenna (1 goal, 3 assists), Steven Halsey (2 goals, 1 assist), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (2 goals) and Misha Eletsky (1 goal). |

Robins 14@ Wayzata-Minnetonka 1
Tonight, the Robins improved to 2-0 with a 14-1 victory over the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers. This young group of players continues to get better in just about every aspect of the game, and continues to dominate both offensively and defensively. Erin Nickell once again led the Robins in scoring, finishing with 4 goals and 2 assists. Jesse Klein was right behind Nickell in the scorebook with 4 goals. Cassee Cannata continued to play very well, finishing with 1 goal and 3 assists. Steven Halsey finished with 2 goals, as did Jenna Stolarek-Houston. Goalkeeper Josh Klein recorded 8 saves, in addition to 2 assists. |

Robins 13 vs Mounds View 0
The Robins kept their hot streak alive tonight with a 13-0 victory over the Mounds View Rams. It took the Robins just 16 seconds to put the first goal on the scoreboard, then they led 7-0 at halftime. Jesse Klein led the Robins with 5 goals and 2 assists, while teammate Steven Halsey chipped in with 3 goals and 3 assists. Erin Nickell continued to be a force once again this evening, scoring 3 goals and playing some tough defense. Also scoring for the Robins were: Ethan Brenna, 1 goal, 2 assists; Misha Eletsky, 1 goal; James Sneltjes, 1 assist; and Jenna Stolarek-Houston, 1 assist. Josh Klein finished the game with 8 saves. |

Robins 15 @ White Bear Lake 0
The Robins started a bit slow in this game, scoring just once during the game’s first ten minutes, but then caught fire and defeated the White Bear Lake Bears 15-0. Once the Robins finally got things going, this game became a continuation of the things they have done extremely well during the first four games of the season. Precision passing, unselfish play, aggressiveness on both ends of the floor and a balanced, team oriented attack helped the Robins move to 4-0. Jesse Klein had 3 goals and 5 assists while Erin Nickell scored 3 goals. Cassee Cannata, Ethan Brenna, and Steven Halsey all finished with 2 goals apiece. Brian Kraske scored his first goal of the season and added 2 assists before the game was over. Goalkeeper Josh Klein made 2 saves in addition to scoring a goal. |

Robins 2 @ Anoka-Hennepin 0
The Robins improved their record to 5-0 tonight and took over sole possession of first place in the North Conference with a 2-0 victory over the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs. The game turned out to be a battle between the Robins’ depth and goalkeeping and the tough mid-field defense of the Mustangs. The Robins got on the board with eight minutes left in the first half when Erin Nickell made a great centering pass and found Jesse Klein wide open on the left side The Robins were able to get their second goal just five minutes into the second half when Klein once again found the back of the net, but this time on the rebound of a Steven Halsey shot. Goalkeeper Josh Klein posted his fourth shutout of the year by making 24 saves. |

Robins 18 @ Park Center 1
This afternoon, the Robins played another outstanding, team oriented game, and moved to 6-0 with an 18-1 victory over the Park Center Pirates. The Robins were led by Brian Kraske who played the best game of his career, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists. Erin Nickell continued to be an offensive force, matching Kraske's numbers with 4 goals and 2 assists of her own. Steven Halsey, Jenna Stolarek-Houston, Cassee Cannata and Misha Eletsky all scored twice for the Robins. Ethan Brenna and Jesse Klein also turned in solid efforts, scoring one goal apiece. Goalkeeper Josh Klein stopped 2 of the 3 shots he faced. |

Robins 16 vs Wayzata-Minnetonka 0
The Robins continued to get solid play from nearly everyone on their roster this evening, and defeated the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers 16-0. Sophomore Brian Kraske scored the first goal of the game, then just three minutes later, he assisted on the game's second goal, and the Robins never looked back from there. The Robins trademark this season has been solid defensive play and an unselfish offense, and this game certainly was not any different. Scoring for the Robins were: Cassee Cannata (2 goals, 1 assist), Brian Kraske (1 goal, 1 assist), Jesse Klein (2 goals, 3 assists), Ethan Brenna (1 goal, 1 assist), Steven Halsey (3 goals, 2 assists), Jenna Stolarek-Houston (2 goals, 1 assist), Misha Eletsky (1 assist), Erin Nickell (4 goals, 2 assists) and Harrison Lerner (1 goal, 1 assist). Josh Klein made 2 saves to earn his fifth shutout of the season. |

Robins 13 @ Mounds View 1
The Robins will head into the home stretch of the 2006 season next week with an overall record of 8-0 after defeating the Mounds View Rams 13-1 this afternoon. Jesse Klein played a great all-around game today, finishing with 3 goals and 5 assists. Erin Nickel matched Klein's goal scoring effort, netting 3 goals of her own. Steven Halsey and Ethan Brenna also turned in solid efforts, recording 2 goals and 1 assist each. Cassee Cannata, Misha Eletsky and Brian Kraske rounded out the scoring with 1 goal each. Jenna Stolarek-Houston also played very well and finished with 2 assists. Josh Klein made 15 saves for the Robins. |

With a 17-0 defeat of the White Bear Lake Bears, the Robins moved to 9-0 with just one game remaining in the 2006 season. Erin Nickell led the Robins with 4 goals and 2 assists, and Brian Kraske was not far behind, scoring 3 goals. Robins 4 vs Anoka-Hennepin 0
Tonight, the Robins finished off their perfect 10-0 regular season with a 4-0 victory over the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs. The 10-0 record has earned the Robins the PI Division North Conference Championship and a #1 seed at the State Tournament. The Robins grabbed the lead just 1:24 into the game when Erin Nickell made a great centering pass to a wide open Steven Halsey, who buried the ball into the back of the net. Nickell scored a goal of her own less than four minutes later, and then assisted Jesse Klein for the Robins third goal of the half just 90 seconds later. Klein added the Robins fourth goal with just over four minutes remaining in the game. Klein finished the game with 2 goals, Halsey finished with 1 goal and Nickell finished with 1 goal and 2 assists. Goalkeeper Josh Klein was outstanding, making 20 saves while earning his seventh shutout of the season. CONGRATULATIONS ROBINS ON A FANTASTIC SEASON!!! |

Robins 17 vs Park Center 0
The Robins won big today in their first game of the 2006 Adapted Soccer State Tournament at Stillwater High School. The Pirates presented a more formidable offensive attack than in the first two meetings, but they were no match for the Robins goalkeeping and offensive firepower. Erin Nickell turned in her usual 4 goals and 1 assist. Jenna Stolarek-Houston had a huge game, scoring 3 goals and 3 assists. Also scoring for the Robins were: Cassee Cannata (2 goals, 1 assist); Keith Breding (2 goals); Brian Kraske (1 goal, 1 assist); Jesse Klein (1 goal, 3 assists); Ethan Brenna (1 goal); Steven Halsey (1 goal, 2 assists); Misha Eletsky (1 goals, 1 assist); and Harrison Lerner (1 goal, 3 assists). The Robins will face the #2 seed from the South Conference, South Suburban, at 10:30 Saturday morning. |

The Robins picked up a big win the the state semi-finals this morning, blanking the South Suburban Flyers 8-0. Erin Nickell scored the first goal of the game just 1:49 in, and the Robins never looked back. Nickell finished the game with 2 goals and 3 assists. Steven Halsey also had a huge game for the Robins, scoring 3 goals and adding 4 assists. Jesse Klein finished with 2 goals and 1 assist, Brian Kraske had one goal and Misha Eletsky had one assist. Josh Klein stopped all 19 shots he faced to earn the shut-out. |

Robins 3 vs Dakota United 4
The Robins fell just short of claiming their second consecutive State Championship this afternoon, losing to the Dakota United Hawks 4-3. The Hawks used an opportunistic offense to take advantage of several mistakes that were quite uncharacteristic of this year's Robins. Momentary defensive lapses and a couple of bad passes put the Robins the Robins in a 3-1 hole. The Robins lone first half goal was scored by Jesse Klein set up by a great pass by Erin Nickell. The Robins managed to tie the game at 3 on great second half goals by Nickell and Steven Halsey, but the Hawks got the game winning goal just two minutes after Nickell tied the game. The Robins fired a couple of close range, last second shots but were unable to find an opening in the net. Klein, Nickell and Halsey all finised with 1 goal and 1 assist each. Ethan Brenna also added an assist for the Robins. Josh Klein saved 13 of the 17 shots he faced. |
