ROBINS 4 ANOKA-HENNEPIN 5
The first game of the season had the Robins matched up with the Mustangs of Anoka-Hennepin. This game was very close from to start to finish. The Mustangs led 2-0 after the first inninng,and 3-0 after 3 innings. The Robins came to life in the 4th inning, putting together 4 doubles and scoring 3 runs. Anoka got 1 run in the 5th, and the Robins tied it again in the 6th. Anoka led off the bottom of the 7th with a solo home run to secure the 5-4 victory. Chris Schumacher was 2 for 3 with 1 RBI and 1 run scored; also recording RBI for the Robins were Joey Mullen, James Sneltjes and Lance Colquitt with 1 RBI each. |

ROBINS 6 MOUNDS VIEW 2
Tonight, the Robins notched their first victory of the softball season, defeating the Rams 6-2. The Robins knocked out 4 hits in the first inning and scored 3 runs, then had 7 hits in the third inning, scoring three more times. The Rams scored both of their runs as a part of four consecutive singles in the 5th inning. Tim Kraske led the Robins, going 3 for 3 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Chris Schumacher went 2 for 3, and also had 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Eighth grader Lance Colquitt pitched 7 strong innings, allowing 2 earned runs 10 hits. |

ROBINS 8 MPLS. SOUTH 3
Today, the Robins picked up their second consecutive victory with a convincing 8-3 victory over the Minneapolis South Tigers. The Robins led 2-1 heading in to the 4th inning, in which they got hot at the plate, putting together 6 hits and scored 5 runs. Ashley Bailey led the Robins, going 4 for 4 with 1 RBI. Chris Schumacher had a bases loaded triple that scored 3 runs, and Tim Kraske went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Pitcher Lance Colquitt picked up his second victory, allowing just two earned runs and 11 hits. |

ROBINS 3 HUMBOLDT 4
Tonight, the Robins battled the undefeated Humboldt Hawks, and lost a very close, hard fought 4-3 game. The Robins led 2-0 after the first inning, but then struggled a bit afterward. Josh Klein had a big game, going 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 RBI. James Sneltjes and Kyri Simon both had solid games too, both players went 2 for 3 with Simon recording the Robins other RBI. |

ROBINS 12 WAYZATA-MINNETONKA 2
The Robins had a great night tonight, and defeated the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers 12-2. The first inning was a big one for the Robins as they scored 5 times and knocked out 7 hits. They scored one more runs in the 2nd, then put together another 7 hit, 5 run inning in the 3rd. Ashley Bailey, Kati Fobes, Josh Klein, Josh Buell, Chris Schumacher and Tim Kraske all went 2 for 2, with Kraske and Schumacher both finishing with 3 RBI. In the absence of regular starting pitcher Lance Colquitt, Josh Buell pitched a great game, allowing just 2 runs and 9 hits. |

ROBINS 15 OSSEO 1
For the second time this week, the Robins had an outstanding performance and defeated the Osseo Orioles 15-1. The Robins only had one inning without multiple hits, and had three 7 hit, 5 run innings. Tim Kraske and Chris Schumacher both had three hits and 3 RBI, while Josh Klein had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Also having a great game for the Robins were: Kati Fobes (2-2, 2 runs), Joey Mullen (2-2, 1 RBI), and Eddie Nelson (2-3, 1 RBI and 3 runs). The Robins are 4-2 heading in to the season's home stretch, in which they will face 3 of the leagues' top teams in Dakota, White Bear Lake and South Suburban. |

ROBINS 10 DAKOTA UNITED 4
Tonight, the Robins ran their winning streak to three games by defeating the Dakota United Hawks 10-4. Overall, this was probably the Robins' best performance of the season, as they played rock-solid defense and knocked out 26 hits against a very talented Dakota United squad. The Robins led 3-2 after two innings, then scored one run in the third and four more in the fourth to help secure the victory. Ashley Bailey led the Robins, going 4 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Chris Schumacher also was 4 for 5, with 1 run scored and 2 RBI, he also was the Robins' starting pitcher and allowed four runs in 7 innings. Eddie Nelson and Josh Klein both went 3 for 4, and Joey Mullen finished the game 4 for 4. |

ROBINS 8 WHITE BEAR 2
Today, the Robins managed to keep their winning streak alive, defeating the White Bear Lake Bears 8-2. The game was scoreless through 3 innings, then the Robins offense came to life, scoring 5 runs in the fourth inning. They then managed 1 run in each of the next 3 innings, while allowing only one small rally by the Bears in which they scored both of their runs. Josh Klein and Kati Fobes both had great games for the Robins. Klein finished the game 3 for 4 with 4 RBI, and Fobes went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI. Chris Schumacher picked up the win, pitching seven strong innings, allowing just 2 runs and 8 hits. |
