Robins 9 vs. Park Center 0
The Robins put the finishing touches on a great regular season with a 9-0 defeat of the Park Center Pirates. Chris Schumacher led the Robins with 3 goals. The third goal made him the Robins' all-time leading goal scorer, with 67 goals. Tim Kraske finished with 2 goals and 1 assist, while Erin Nickell finished with 1 goal and 1 assist. Also scoring for the Robins were: James Sneltjes (1 goal), Cassee Cannata (1 goal), Ethan Brenna (1 assist), Joey Mullen (1 assist) and Josh Klein (1 goal). The Robins finished the regular season with a record of 7-2-1.

Robins 8 vs Mounds View 2
The Robins got back on the winning track tonight with an 8-2 victory over the Mounds View Rams. The game was close for the first ten minutes, then the Robins got hot and built a 6-1 lead before halftime. It was a great all around game, with everyone making solid contributions. Chris Schumacher led the Robins with four goals and one assist, while Joey Mullen and Steven Halsey both finished the game with one goal and one assist. Tim Kraske and Josh Klein both scored one goal, and Kati Fobes, Misha Eletsky, Erin Nickell and Ethan Brenna all recorded assists. In addition to his goal, goalkeeper Josh Klein stopped 30 of the 32 shots he faced. Up next for the Robins: the regular season finale vs. the Park Center Pirates.

Robins 1 @ Dakota United 5
Tonight, the Robins met the undefeated Dakota United Hawks, fought hard, yet came away with a 5-1 loss. The Robins were playing tonight’s game shorthanded, as four members of the Robins missed the game for various reasons. Those members that did play put forth an outstanding effort, keeping the game close for a very large portion of the game’s 40 minutes, which made the final score a bit deceiving. Tim Kraske scored the Robins’ only goal, and Kati Fobes was credited with the assist. Josh Klein was able to stop 30 of the 35 shots he faced. The Robins can still earn a top 5 seed for the State Tournament with victories over Mounds View and Park Center.

Robins 9 @ St. Paul Highland 0
Today, the Robins faced St. Paul Highland, and came away with a 9-0 victory. The regular starting line-up played sparingly, and the rest of the Robins bench was more than able to hold their own for the majority of the game. Chris Schumacher scored three goals and one assist, and Jesse Klein also scored three goals. Rounding out the scoring for the Robins were Tim Kraske, James Sneltjes and Steven Halsey with one goal each. Goalkeeper Josh Klein had a bit of a boring afternoon in goal, but stopped all seven shots he faced.

Robins 6 @ Wayzata 0
The Robins winning streak continued tonight with a 6-0 victory over the Wayzata-Minnetonka Lakers. The Robins started out slow, as they did against White Bear Lake, but then picked things up in the second half. The Robins were led by Tim Kraske and Joey Mullen, who had two goals each. Chris Schumacher had one goal and three assists, and Jesse Klein also added one goal. Redording assists for the Robins were Erin Nickell and Kati Fobes, with one assist each. Josh Klein made 21 saves.

Robins 5 vs Anoka-Hennepin 1
Tonight, the Robins faced one of their toughest opponent so far, the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs, played their best all around game of the season, and came away with a 5-1 victory. Junior goalkeeper Josh Klein had an outstanding game, making 26 saves. Chris Schumacher led the way for the Robins, scoring three goals and one assist. Steven Halsey also made a major contribution tonight, with some great defensive play in addition to scoring two goals. Tim Kraske finished the game with 4 assists, and Joey Mullen had one assist. The Robins next game is Monday, October 17 vs. Wayzata-Minnetonka.

Robins 10 vs Humboldt 0
The Robins continued their winning ways tonight, defeating the St. Paul Humboldt Hawks 10-0. The entire team continues to play better every day, with the offense really showing their potential tonight, and the defense playing as well as they have all year. Chris Schumacher and Tim Kraske led the Robins offensive attack tonight, with Schumacher scoring four goals and one assist, and Kraske adding three goals ond two assists. Jesse Klein scored two goals and Joey Mullen added one of his own. Cassee Cannata, Ethan Brenna and James Sneltjes all finished the game with two assists, and Erin Nickell finished with one assist. Goalkeeper Josh Klein posted his second consecutive shutout, stoppong all ten shots he faced, and has stopped 48 consecutive shots overall.

Robins 5 @ White Bear 0
After having more than a week without a game, the Robins continued their 2005 season with a 5-0 victory over the White Bear Lake Bears. It took the Robins nearly ten minutes to get on the scoreboard, but they eventually were able to take a 2-0 lead by the end of the first half. The offense picked up a little bit early in the seond half, as the Robins staked themselves to a 5-0 lead before ten minutes had passed in the second half. Senior Tim Kraske, and eighth grader Steven Halsey both scored two goals for the Robins, while Senior Chris Schumacher scored one goal and had three assists. Also recording assists for the Robins were Jesse Klein, Ethan Brenna and Lance Colquitt. Junior goalkeeper, Josh Klein, stopped all 32 shots he faced en route to his first career shutout.

Robins 6 vs. Mpls. South 6
In the 2005 season opener, the Robins faced a very tough opponent, the Tigers of Minneapolis South. The Robins led early, then fell behind 4-2 at halftime. The Tigers eventually held a 6-3 lead before the Robins stormed back late in the second half to tie the game. The Robins had several opportunities in the last 3 minutes to score a game winning goal, but were not able to connect on their chances. Tim Kraske led the Robins with 2 goals, while Erin Nickell, Joey Mullen and Chris Schumacher all had one goal and one assistst each. Misha Eletsky finished the game with one goal, and Steven Halsey and Jesse Klein both finished with one assist.

Robins 6 vs Mpls. South 2
In their first game of the 2005 adapted soccer state tournament, the Robins avenged their only tie of the year by defeating the Tigers of Minneapolis South 6-2. In the first meeting between these two teams, the Robins led for most of the game, but it ended in a 6-6 tie. There would be no tie tonight, as the Robins were determined to take the first step towards their first soccer state championship since 1995. The Robins led 3-0 at halftime on goals by Tim Kraske, Chris Schumacher and Erin Nickell. Schumacher took charge in the second half, scoring all three goals for the Robins, and finished the game with four goals. Kraske finished the game with one goal and four assists. Jesse Klein also was credited with an assist for the game. The real story of the game was the Robins' terrific defense. Jesse Klein, Misha Eletsky, Steven Halsey, Joey Mullen, Josh Buell and Ashley Bailey all were outstanding. The final aspect of this game was the great goalkeeping by Josh Klein, who made 32 saves.

Robins 5 vs South Suburban 2
In the semi-finals of the 2005 adapted soccer state tournament, the Robins faced the #2 seeded South Suburban Flyers. These two teams did not meet during the regular season, so it figured to be a tough match-up. The Flyers jumped out to a 1-0 lead early in the first half, but then the Robins came to life and took a 3-1 lead into halftime. The Robins scored two more goals in the second half, and the Flyers added one more late in the game to make the final 5-2. The Robins were led by 9th grader Jesse Klein, who played the best soccer game of his career, and added two very important goals. Steven Halsey also was tremendous, he played outstanding defense while scoring one goal, and really helped keep the Flyers from ever mounting a serious attack. Also scoring for the Robins were Tim Kraske (one goal) and Chris Schumacher (one goal). Josh Klein continued his awesome play, and held the Flyers to just two goals on 28 shots.

Robins 2 vs Dakota United 0
The final game of the 2005 adapted soccer state tournament was the match-up the Robins had been waiting for...a state championship match against the Dakota United Hawks. The Hawks came into this game as the two-time defending champions, and the Robins were looking to get payback for their only true loss of the season. The game was a dog-fight from the start, with the teams headed into halftime tied at 0. The Robins got the only goal they would need early in the second half on a scorcher from Chris Schumacher. The Robins’ defense then took over. Jesse Klein added an insurance goal for the Robins with less than three minutes to play. Josh Klein made 21 saves in the shutout victory as the Robins claimed their first soccer state championship since 1995. Josh Klein and Chris Schumacher were both named to the 2005 Wells Fargo All-Tournament Team. WHAT AN AWESOME SEASON!!! CONGRATULATIONS ROBINS!!!
