ROBINS 1 S. SUBURBAN 6
The Robins first soccer game of the year was a tough one, facing the talented Flyers of South Suburban. The Flyers led 5-0 at halftime. The Robins played much better in the second half, allowing just one goal. Chris Schumacher scored the Robins lone goal, with Tim Kraske credited for the assist. Josh Buell demonstrated some solid play in his first appearance at goalkeeper for the Robins, making 38 saves. |

ROBINS 7 WHITE BEAR 2
The Robins rebounded from Tuesday's loss in great fashion, thoroughly dominating the White Bear Lake Bears, 7-2. Tim Kraske was on fire the entire game, scoring four goals and one assist. Chris Schumacher also was outstanding, recording two goals and five assists. Also scoring for the Robins was Kati Fobes, who knocked in a nice goal on a rebound from a Schumacher shot. Newcomers Cassie Cannata, Misha Eletsky and Keith Breding all put forth solid efforts off the Robins bench. Josh Buell and Sam Spolar split time in the net. Buell did not allow a goal on 15 shots, while Spolar allowed just two goals on 18 shots. GREAT GAME ROBINS!!! |

ROBINS 1 DAKOTA UNITED 9
Tonight the Robins squared off with the high-powered Hawks of Dakota United. Dakota pretty much controlled this game from the get-go, defeating the Robins by a score of 9-1. Chris Schumacher scored the Robins lone goal, with Kati Fobes getting credit for the assist. Josh Buell and Sam Spolar each played twenty minutes at goalkeeper, with Buell making 9 saves on 14 shots and Spolar making 14 saves on 18 shots. |

ROBINS 1 ST. PAUL HUMBOLDT 9
For the second consecutive game, the Robins faced a very strong team, the Hawks of St. Paul Humboldt. While the Robins put forth a valiant effort, they couldn't keep pace with the fast moving attack of the Hawks and fell by a score of 9-1. Sam Spolar scored the Robins goal, and Chris Schumacher received credit for the assist. Josh Buell spent 32 minutes as goalkeeper, saving 27 of 34 shots, and Spolar saved 14 of 16 in 8 minutes of play. |

ROBINS 6 ANOKA 2
Today the Robins got back on track with a solid 6-2 victory over the Anoka-Hennepin Mustangs. This game was relatively tight throughout, but the Robins were able to pull away via Chris Schumacher's 3 goals and 3 assists. Tim Kraske, Kati Fobes and Sam Spolar all scored one goal apiece. Spolar and Josh Buell once again shared goalkeeping duties, stopping 16 of 18 shots collectively. |

ROBINS 12 WAYZATA 4
The Robins stayed hot again tonight, and pushed their winning streak to two games with a convincing 12-4 defeat of the Lakers of Wayzata-Minnetonka. While virtually every Robin made a solid contribution in this game, it was Chris Schumacher who stole the show with 7 goals. Sam Spolar recorded 2 goals and 2 assists, with Tim Kraske, Kati Fobes and Misha Eletsky all scoring one goal each. Josh Buell was solid again tonight, stopping 15 of the 19 shots he faced. ROBINS 9 ST. PAUL HIGHLAND 1
The Robins kept rolling along tonight, moving their winning streak to three games with a 9-1 victory over St. Paul Highland. Tim Kraske led the way for the Robins in this game, recording 4 goals and 1 assist. Sam Spolar scored two goals and Chris Schumacher, Misha Eletsky, and Cassee Cannata all scored one goal each. Cannata, Kraske, Eletsky, Spolar and Kati Fobes all were credited with assists. Josh Buell had a relatively easy night, allowing just one goal on 5 shots. The Robins are now 4-3, and are quickly moving up in the conference standings. |

ROBINS 8 MOUNDSVIEW 4
Tonight the Robins continued their winning ways, defeating the Rams of Mounds View by a score of 8-4. The Robins led this game 3-0 in the first half, but the the Rams made a charge in the second half and cut the Robins lead to 5-4. After a quick time-out, the Robins came out a bit more focused and finally pulled away with 3 goals in the final 7 minutes. Tim Kraske had 3 goals and 1 assist, while Chris Schumacher sored 5 goals of his own. Misha Eletsky and Kati Fobes also contributed one assist each. Josh Buell played all 40 minutes in the net, and made 26 saves on 30 shots. |

ROBINS 5 PARK CENTER 6
The Robins four game winning streak came to an end tonight with a hard-fought, heartbreaking 6-5 loss to the Pirates of Park Center. The Pirates took control early on and never trailed, but the Robins fought hard all night and made this game a nail biter to the very end. Kati Fobes had a great game, leading the scoring for the Robins with 2 goals. Misha Eletsky scored one goal and added two assists, while Tim Kraske and Chris Schumacher both finished with one goal and one assist. Josh Buell made 19 saves on 25 shots. |

ROBINS 5 SOUTH MINNEAPOLIS 18
The regular season came to a close tonight with a disappointing 18-5 loss to the Tigers of South Minneapolis. This game was controlled by the Tigers very early in the game before the Robins made a surge, tying the game at 4 before the first half was over. The Tigers took control again early in the second half, and never looked back. Chris Schumacher scored 3 goals for the Robins, and Tim Kraske added 2 goals and 1 assist of his own. Sam Spolar and Kati Fobes each recorded one assist. The Robins finished the regular season with a 5-5 record, and will likely host a play-off game on Monday, November 1, 2004, with the winner advancing to the State Tournament. |

ROBINS 10 ST. PAUL HIGHLAND 1
In a play-off game with a State Tournament berth at stake, the Robins got back to what they do best...playing a solid, team-oriented game of soccer. The Robins dominated throughout, and advance to the 2004 MSHSL Adapted Soccer Tournament by defeating Highland Park by a score of 10-1. Tim Kraske scored three goals and one assist, Chris Schumacher had three goals and four assists, Kati Fobes recorded two goals and two assists, and Sam Spolar and Keith Breding each added one goal. Breding's goal was the first of his career. The Robins will be seeded 6th at the State Tournament, and will face St. Paul Humboldt in Friday night's game. BEST OF LUCK AT STATE, ROBINS!!! |
