Robins # 1 vs South Washington 13
The Robins lost the play off game to first ranked South Washing from the South Conference with a score of 1-13. Senior Shernell Davis had 1 shot on goal, while Senior Captain Jonathan Krolak had 2 shots on goal and scored the Robins only goal on a penalty shot. William Donnell shot 3 shots on goal and was shut down for the first time all season from scoring. While in goal Jonathan Krolak made 6 saves, Brittany Bern in goal made 1 save and Brandon Worth made 6 saves to finish out the game in goal for the Robins. Coach Engler expressed to the team what a unified team are and how much fun this season has been for all team members, coaches and parents despite not making it to the State Tournament. The coaches thank manager Josh Buell for his contribution to making it a fun season. The team and coaches want to thank the cheerleaders and Karen Krossow for there great support. Coach Engler announced that Jonathan Krolak made all conference and Shernell Davis and William Donnell each made Honorable mention this soccer season. The coaches are looking forward to seeing all team members out for hockey in December.

Robins 5 vs Stillwater 12
The Robins played an outstanding game this evening. It was the best game they have played during the soccer season. The team welcomed back Nick Garrett who had been out with health concerns. Nick gave real life to each and every member of the team and played with renewed enthusiasm. William Donnell scored 3 goals and had 2 assist on 7 shots on goal. Nick Garrett scored 1 goal with 1 assist with 6 shots on goal. While in goal for the last 10 minutes of play Nick had 8 saves as the Robins offense began to fall behind. Co- Captain Jonathan Krolak started out in goal had had 22 saves before coming out of goal to make 3 shots on goal and make one quick goal. Jennifer Dorr was Coach Engler and Coach Silbaugh's go to gal playing offense, shooting one shot on goal, playing mid-field mixing it up. Tyler Anderson started as a wing but really helped the Robins out when he went to defense. A strong foot got the ball down court for the offense. Brandon Worth has found his home in defense. A power house for the Robins Brandon makes a great defender who set up several good plays this evening. Shernell Davis started in defense and moved to offense where she once again was in the mix. Brittany Bern, Steven Snodgrass, Laura Nelson and Tori Percy all showed excellent supportive play in offense helping to keep the ball down in scoring territory. The Robins kept the game close with a 4-5 score for the first half. Athletic Director John Oelfke was able to make it to the game for support. The evening started off with Parent Appreciation Night. Each player presented his or her parent with a flower and a photo album. The Robins look forward to the play offs next Thursday.

Robins 5 vs Moundsview 11
The Robins lost a hard fought game at Moundsview and lost with a score of 5-11 against the North Conference's leading team. The Robins showed great improvement this game going against such a strong opponent. The Robins shot about 70% with William Donnell scoring 3 goals and having 1 assist. Shernell Davis scored 2 goals and Jennifer Dorr had 1 assist. Tyler Anderson had 1 shot on goal, Shernell had a total of 5 shots on goal, Jennifer had 3 shots on goal, and Steven Snodgrass had 1 shot on goal. Will Donnell tried his hand in goal and had 7 saves, Brittany Bern had 2 saves while in goal and also playing in goal for his first time was Jonathan Krolak with 4 saves and only one score against. Playing in defense was Brandon Worth. Playing in all 3 positions, offense, mid and defense was Shernell Davis. Also playing for offense was Tori Percy and Laura Nelson who really helped get our offense in position for attaching the goal. This was the Robins last away game of the soccer season and will play there last home game on Thursday against Stillwater. Thursday's game will be Parent appreciation. Parents and player should plan to be at Hosterman by 6pm for a 6:15 start time for festivities.

Robins 2 vs Anoka 10 Opponent #
The Robins lost to Anoka at home with a score of 2-10. The Robins started off strong with greatly improved defense. Brittney Bern started in goal and had 8 saves. The Robins were stronger offensively with more shots on goal. Tyler Anderson had 1 shot on goal and 1 goal. William Donnell had 6 shots on goal and came up with a great assist to Steven Snodgrass which was the Robins second goal. Steven had 3 shots on goal. Brandon Worth replaced Brittany as goalie and had 9 saves. Shernell Davis had two shots on goal along with Jonathan Krolak and Jennifer Dorr who also had 2 shots each on goal. Laura Nelson had 1 shot on goal. Playing wing for the Robins was Tori Percy who had a couple of great passes. Once again the Robins missed John Mason and Nick Garrett. The Robins have one home game and one away game left before play offs.

Robins 5 vs St. Cloud 13
The Robins traveled to St. Cloud Friday October 13th. The game originally scheduled for 4pm was changed to 6pm. The Robins stopped at McDonald's and Coach Engler bought hamburger, and fries for all. Brittany Bern's parent bought gator aide for all. The Robins started out strong with great play and a goal by William Donnell who had 8 shots on goal for the evening and made 5 goals. Shernell Davis made 2 shots on goal and played well on defense keeping the ball down in scoring range. Brittany Bern started in goal and made 5 saves and let in 7 goals. Brandon Worth who had a diving save for the first time this evening made 3 saves and was scored on 6 times. Playing in the wing positions were Steven Snodgrass, Laura Nelson, Tyler Anderson, Jennifer Dorr, Tori Percy, Brittany Bern and sometimes William Donnell and Shernell Davis. Playing on defense for the game were Brandon Worth, Tyler Anderson, Jonathan Krolak, Jennifer Dorr, Laura Nelson, Tori Percy, Steven Snodgrass, Laura Nelson and the most impressive defense player of the evening was senior Shernell Davis. The Robins have their next game at home at Hosterman on Monday, October 16 against Anoka.

Robins 3 vs Wayzata 13
The Robins lost 13-3 against Wayzata at home. The Robins showed great improvement defensively in senior Shernell Davis and junior John Mason. All 3 of the Robins scores were made by William Donnell who returned this week after being out last week. William made 7 shots on goal. Also shooting for goal were Shernell Davis with 4 shots on goal, Jonathan Krolak with 6 shots on goal, Tyler Anderson with 2 shots on goal, Jennifer Dorr and Tori Percy each with 1 shot on goal. In goal Brandon Worth saved 19 with 7 goals getting in for Wayzata while new goalie Brittany Bern saved 19 and let in 6 goals. Coaches had great things to say about new goalie this game, Brittany Bern who had her first start in goal this game. Also playing for the Robins were Steven Snodgrass, and Laura Nelson.

Robins 2 vs North Suburban 14
Robbinsdale, Hopkins Mound Westonka Robins lost to North Suburban in an away game with a score of 2-14. Seniors Shernell Davis and Jonathan Krolak each made a goal with goalie Brandon Worth making 1 assist. Tyler Anderson had 1 shot on goal on the final buzzer. Shernell Davis had 3 shots on goal, Jonathan Krolak made 7 shots on goal, Brittany Bern had 1 shot on goal and Tori Percy made 1 shot on goal. Brandon Worth in goal had 22 saves bringing his saves for the year to 91. Laura Nelson made her debut in defense in this game. She also played wing. She had great position to score. Jennifer Dorr improves her play each week. Jennifer did a great job on defense. John Mason started in defense and after leaving the game with an injury was able to return and continue with great defense and strong kicks. Tori Percy had an energetic game. She came into the game with a great attitude and did a good job on defense as well as offense. Steven Snodgrass played both wing and defense and had a big job off staying on North Suburban's #4 and #5. The Robins missed Junior Nick Garrett who has been out ill and 8th grader William Donnell. Coaches Engler, Kise and Silbaugh felt the team played more developed play. Offensively a highlight was the great job done by senior Shernell Davis who seems to have stepped it up a notch. The Robins play at home Monday October 9th at Hosterman.

Robins 1 vs Park Center 14
Traveling to Park Center the Robbinsdale, Hopkins, Mound Westonka Robins lost to Park Center 1-14 in hard fought game. Scoring the Robins only goal was William Donnell who had 5 shots on goal, while Captain Shernell Davis had 3 shots on goal, Tyler Anderson had one shot on goal, Captain Jonathan Krolak had 3 shots on goal and Tori Percy made 2 shots on goal. Steven Snodgrass started in goal making 7 saves while he was scored upon 7 times. Brandon Worth replaced Snodgrass and made 12 saves with only 7 goals scored against him. The Robins missed goalie and offensive player Nick Garrett who is out sick. The Robins are looking forward to Nick's return. Coach Jim Engler tried several combinations and is working on finding the right combination for his developing team. The Robins also missed John Mason at tonight’s game. A defensive highlight was the great job Jennifer Dorr did in defense. Brittany Bern who played both offense and defense was hit hard by a ball while on the bench but was able to recover enough to rejoin the team at wing. Tori Percy tried her hand at both offense and defense. Laura Nelson found her home at wing on offense. Goalie Brandon Worth had a great second half after playing defense for the Robins. Tyler Anderson is working to develop his position as sweeper but found his grove in defense with a powerful kick. Tyler is looking forward to developing his offensive skills. Steven Snodgrass tried is hand at wing when he came out of the goal. The Robins travel to North Suburban Thursday and hope to advance their skills, working for a win on the road.

The Robins came on strong with a score in the first minute of play. It was a couple of minutes later that Stillwater answered and continued to score. The Robins hopes were dashed when Stillwater took the go ahead goal and continued to score. The Robins had to regroup before for they started to shut down the Stillwater offense. The leading scorer for the Robins was Jonathan Krolak, senior captain. Jonathan had a great percentage scoring 4 but only shooting 5 shots on goal. William Donnell again had another terrific game; he scored 1 goal and had 1 assist. William was called on by Coach Jim Engler to play defense where he was able to lead the Robins effort to try stop the Stillwater offense. Tori Percy scored 100% with one hot on goal making it. Tyler Anderson had 3 shots on goal and made 1 goal. Supporting players were Jen Dorr, Brittany Bern, and Laura Nelson. Steven Snodgrass started in goal and had 2 saves. Brandon Worth took over as goalie and made 20 saves senior captain Shernell Davis came out of the game with a foot injury but was able to re-enter during the last 5minutes of play. The Robins according to Coach Engler are improving with every game. Next week the Robins play two away games. The Robins will be playing Tuesday and Thursday, one away game with Park Center and one away game with North Suburban.

Robins 4 vs Moundsview 12
The Robbinsdale Robins lost to Moundsview with a score of 4-12. The Robins were missing goalie Nick Garrett but goalie Brandon Worth had 27 saves and did a terrific job. The offense struggled at first to get the ball down court and connect with the net. William Donnell was high scorer for the Robins with 3 goals on 8 shots on goal. Tyler Anderson had 2 shots on goal. Captain John Krolak made 1 goal and had 1 assist on 7 shots on goal Laura Nelson came off the bench to have 2 shots on goal. Brittany Bern had one shot on goal. John Mason did a good job in defense along with defense players Steven Snodgrass, Shernell Davis, Jennifer Dorr and Jonathan Krolak. Playing mid field for the Robins were Tyler Anderson, and William Donnell. Playing wing on the left or right side were Brittany Bern, Tori Percy, Laura Nelson, Shernell Davis, along with Jonathan Krolak and William Donnell. A strong point this season is that the Robins are developing players that can play multiple positions. Head Coach Jim Engler was pleased with the progress that his team is making so early in the season. This is a rebuilding season for the Robins. The Robins are a young team with good potential. Thursday the Robins travel to Stillwater for an away game at 4:30pm

Robins 4 @ Anoka 7
The Robins played the first game of the new soccer season away against Anoka. The Robins lost a well played game with a score of 7-4. Nick Garrett started and made 10 saves for the evening. Replacing Nick in goal was Steven Snodgrass who had 1 save will in goal. The Robins last goalie of the game was 9th grader and newcomer to the team Brandon Worth who made 9 saves for the game. High scorer for the Robins was 8th grade newcomer from Robbinsdale Middle school William Donnell who scored 3 goals. Nick Garrett scored the 1 goal and had 2 assists. Showing much promise on defense was newcomer 7th grader Tyler Anderson who had 1 shot on goal and 1 assist for the game. Nick Garrett had 8 shots on goal and William Donnell also had 8 shots on goal. Shernell Davis senior from Cooper had 1 shot on goal. Starting in defense was John Mason. Playing both defense and offense for the Robins and shooting 2 shots on goal was Jonathan Krolak senior and Captain. Jennifer Dorr played both offense and defense for the Robins and is a freshman at Cooper. Also returning this year and playing offense were Laura Nelson and Brittany Bern, sophomores from Armstrong. This was Head coach Jim Engler's first game. He stated that he was very proud of the great job the team had done on their first game of the season. Also coaching for the Robins are assistants Marlys Silbaugh and Brian Kise.
