Robins 10- Maple Grove 5
The Robins started the season with a victory. The Robins defeated Maple Grove in the first game of the hockey season at home with a score of 10-5. Josh Bell was the leading soccer with 5 goals and 2 assists. Co-captian Sam Harrington had 3 goals and 2 assists and co-captain Ryan Degner made 1 goal and 2 assists. Dustin Peterson made one goal with an assist from Jacob Yurick. Goalie Andy Bell had 28 saves and 1 goal assist. Jacob Yurick had 2 assists to round out the Robins offensive effort. Also playing for the Robins were Dustin Peterson, John Mason, and John Krolak who had outstanding defensive in the last period to keep the Robins in the lead. This was a great opener for the Robins against a strong Maple Grove team. The Robins JV lost a close game to Maple Grove with a score of 6-8. Leading the Robins in scoring was Jacob Yurick with 5 goals. Making one goal for the Robins was Jason Dorr with his first hockey goal of his career. Goalie Brittany Bern had 9 saves. Steven Snodgrass had 3 assists while Stacy Anthony had one assist for the Robins. Rounding out the Robins roster were Jennifer Dorr at right wing, John Mason on offense and then defense and Ari Carlson at right wing. This was a close game for the Robins and a great effort.

Robins 8- South Suburban 2
The Robbinsdale, Hopkins, Mound Westonka Robins defeated the South Suburban Jets 8-2. Josh Bell and Sam Harrington lead the Robins in scoring with 3 goals each.In the 3rd period, Jonathan Krolak and Dustin Peterson each scored 1 goal for the Robins. Ryan Degner had 2 assists while Sam Harrington, Josh Bell, Dustin Peterson, Jacob Yurick each had 1 assist each. The Robins had one penalty against them. Andy Bell did another great job in goal with 15 saves. This brings the Robins to a 2-0 start for the hockey season. The Robins JV defeated the Jets 8-1 with Steven Snodgrass scoring 6 goals and having 1 assist. Stacey Anthony scored two goals and had 1 assist. John Mason who had a great defensive game had 2 assists while Anne Marie Burns had 1 assist. Brittany Bern had 5 saves as goalie. Rounding out the Robins effort were Jennifer and Jason Dorr. Jennifer had her first outing as center forward and did a great job. Tuesday, January 25th the Robins play at home.

Robins 13- St. Paul 3
The Robbinsdale Robins defeated St. Paul with a score of 13-3. Scoring was fairly even for the Robins with Josh Bell scoring 3 goals and having 1 assist. Sam Harrington,Andy Bell, Jacob Yurick, and Jonathan Krolak each had 2 goals a piece with Jonathan having 1 assist while Steve Snodgrass had 1 assist with Brittany Bern mading 1 goal. Rayjahn Hunter also had one assist. In goal the first quarter Andy Bell had 4 saves and in goal second and third quarter Josh Bell had eleven saves. Jennifer Dorr had one shot on goal, while Ryan Degner fed the offense from defense along with John Mason, Rayjahn Hunter and Andy Bell. As wings Stacey Anthony, Ari Carlson, Jennifer Dorr and Anne Marie Burns rounded out the Robins' offensive effort. His first time as varsity center Jason Dorr followed Dustin Peterson lead who also played center tonight. Dustin stuck with the puck and had 3 shots on goal this evening. This game was a team effort for the Robins who travel to Owatonna on Friday January 28th. Good luck Robins.

Robins 8- Owatonna 7
The Robbinsdale, Hopkins, Mound Westonka Robins defeated defending State Floor Hockey Champions Owatonna with a score of 8-7. Andy Bell as goalie had 47 saves, Ryan Degner had 1 assist and was a defensive power for the Robins. Jonathan Krolak who has recently moved to defense did a great job holding Owatonna. On offense Jonathan had 2 shots and 1 goal. Josh Bell with 15 shots had 4 goals and 1 assist, Sam Harrington had the highest percentage with 4 shots 3 goals and 1 assist. Jacob Yurick had 5 shots on goal. Rounding out the Robins offense was wing Dustin Peterson. The Robins going into the 3rd quarter had a 7-3 lead. Owatonna picked away at it and Josh gave the Robins there last goal to keep the Robins in the lead. Owatonna scored there 7th goal with 1:15 to play in the game. The Robins held to defeat the defending State Champions. The quickness of the Robins was the key to their success. The Robins JV went down in defeat to Owatonna JV with a score of 7-4. The first period the Robins and Owatonna scored and answered the score back and forth until the end of the 2nd period when Owatonna went ahead. The Robins were coming back with 2 goals in the 3rd period but time ran out. Stacey Anthoney in goal had 9 saves. John Mason with strong defend for the Robins had 1 shot on goal. Dustin Peterson as center made 2 goals. Steven Snodgrass with 2 shots made 1 goal and Anne Marie Burns with 1 shot made the last goal of the game for the Robins. Brittany Bern contributed both offensively and defensively with 1 shot on goal. Rounding out the Robins offense were Ari Carlson and Jennifer Dorr. Also playing defense for the Robins was Jason Dorr.

Robins 5- St. Cloud 5 tie
The Robins and St. Cloud tied 5-5 in terrific game at home for the Robins. The game was tied zero to zero in the first period. The second period was tied 1-1 for most the the period. Early in the 3rd period St. Cloud scored again, and again to go ahead 5-1. The Robins with 10 minutes left of the game came back and scored, and scored and in the last 2 minutes tied it up 5-5. Both team played hard and the game ended in a tie. Josh Bell scored 1 goal while Sam Harrington and Dustin Peterson each scored 2 goals. Andy Bell had 17 saves as goalie. Sam Harrington, Ryan Degner, Josh Bell and Rayjahn Hunter each had 1 save. Jacob Yurick rounded out the Robins offensive effort. Sam Harrington's scoring average was 50%, while Josh Bell shot 8 times for a 12.5% average. Jonathan Krolak had 2 shots on goal and Dustin Peterson shot a 100%. This was the most exciting game of the hockey season so far. The Robins JV defeated St. Cloud JV with a score of 4-2 with Dustin Peterson scoring 3 goals, and Jason Dorr scoring 1 goal. Dustin shot 9 times for 33% average and Jason Dorr also made 1 assist. Rayjahn Hunter shot 3 times to round out the Robins offense. Also playing for the Robins were John Mason and Stacey Anthony on defense, Jennifer Dorr, Anne Marie Burns, and Ari Carlson on offense with Steven Snodgrass making his debut in goal. Great job Steven.

Robins 14- Moundsview 6
The Robins defeated Moundsview with a score of 14-6 at Moundsview. Goalie Andy Bell had 40 saves. Top scorer for the Robins was Sam Harrington with 5 goals in the 3 period with 2 assists for the game. Jonathan Krolak had 4 socres with 1 assist. josh Bell made 3 goals with 5 assists. Josh was able to set up and make a great number of excellent passes in the 3rd period. Rayjahn Hunter came in late in the first 5 minutes of the 3rd period and score 1 goal unassisted. Jonathan Krolak had 2 unassisted goals with Josh Bell having 1 unassisted goal. Rounding out the Robins offense was Dustin Peterson with 8 shots on goal with 1 assist. The game was close the first period ending the period with a score of 3-1 Moundsview kept it close in the second period out scoring the Robins 2-3 ending the period with Robins 5 Moundsview 4. The Robins were able to take command of the 3rd period out scoring Moundsview 9-2. The Robins JV tied Moundsview JV 4-4. Steven Snodgrass in goal had 11 saves. Dustin Peterson scored 3 goals out of 16 shots on goal. Rayjahn Hunter score 1 out of 4 shots on gaol. rounding out the Scoring was Rayjahn Hunter and Ann Marie Burns assisting Dustin Rayjahn scoring unassisted and Dustin with 2 goals unassusted. Jason Dorr and Rayjahn Hunter had great defensive games fot the Robins. Arounding out the offense was Ari Carlson, Jennifer Dorr, Stacey Anthony, and Brittany Bern. The score was close the whole game.

Robins 9- Anoka 3
The Robbinsdale, Mound Westonka Robins defeated a strong Anoka team 9-3. In the first period the score very quickly started out 1-1 ending the period with the Robins 2 and Anoka 1. The Robins gained 3 goals to Anoka's 1 in the second period for a 5-2 lead. Although Anoka kept coming they only scored 1 more goal in the 3rd to 4 by the Robins to end the game 9-3. Andy Bell had 24 saves as goalie. Ryan Degner had 2 shots with 2 assists. Defensively Ryan kept the Robins in the offensive end while relieving Josh Bell as center from time to time. Sam Harrington also moved from defense to offense having 2 assists. Josh Bell scored 3 goals and 1 assist on 10 shot at goal. Jacob Yurick scored 1 goal with 1 shot for 100% giving the Robins a much needed goal to answer Anoka early in the 3rd period. Jonathan Krolak had 4 shots with 4 goals and 1 assist to have another great offensive game in his first year at Varsity hockey. Rayjahn Hunter mixed it up and shot once for an assist. Dustin Peterson also mixed it up to keep the Robins on the offensive and shot once for an assist. The Robins remain in first place in conference play. The Robins JV defeated Anoka's JV with a score of 6-3. The game started with Anoka scoring on goalie Steven Snodgrass who had 4 saves for the game. Dustin Peterson made 1 goal and 1 assist. Rayjahn Hunter made 2 goals and the team's leading scorer was Brittany Bern with 3 goalies two assisted and 1 unassisted. Rounding out the Robins offense was Jennifer Dorr, Jason Dorr, Ari Carlson, Anne Marie Burns and Jacob Yurick. In the first period the Robins scored 2 to Anoka's 1. In the second period the Robins out scored Anoka 2-0 and the 3rd Anoka outscored the Robins 0-1 and the Robins finished with 2-1 goals in the last 5 minutes bringing the final score to 6-3. Great passing game by the Robins JV. Next Tuesday the Robins travel to Hudson, Wisconsin and Thursday they host North Suburban.

Robins 9- Hudson 1
The Robins defeated Hudson, Wisconsin at Hudson with a score of 9-1. Josh Bell made 7 goals of which 3 were unassisted and he also had 1 assist. Jacob Yurick made 1 goal. Jonathan Krolak made 1 goal with 1 assist. Sam Harrington had 3 assists. Having a good night on defense was Sam Harrington and Ryan Degner. Mixing it up on wing was Dustin Peterson and Rayjahn Hunter to round out the Robins offense. The Robins JV defeated Hudson JV with a score of 4-1. Dustin Peterson made one goal with an assist by Stacey Anthony. Stacey Anthony made one goal unassisted. Jacob Yurick made one goal assisted by Jennifer Dorr while Jennifer made 1 goal unassisted. Rounding out the Robins JV were Jason Dorr on defense and Ari Carlson on offense. Anne Marie Burns helped cheer on the team. Brittany Bern had a few scoring opportunities with 3 shots on goal. Steven Snodgrass made 4 saves in goal to hold Hudson to one goal. Thursday the Robins play North Suburban at home. The evening will start with Parent appreciation Night. All parents, friends and relatives are invited to attend.

Robins 12- North Suburban 7
The Robins defeated North Suburban 12-7 at home. It was Parent appreciation night and the players introduced their parents and gave them a rose. Karen Krussow coach for the cheeleaders introduced the Robins cheerleading squad and their parents. Andy Bell in his first game not starting as goalie played center forward scoring 2 goals. Josh Bell started as goalie and had 7 saves. Andy returned to goal third period and had 6 saves. Josh returned to center and made 1 goa1 and passed to his wings over and over again to initial a great team game. Ryan Degner made 1 goal and 2 assists, while Sam Harrington made 2 goals off 2 shots, Jacob Yurick made 2 goals, and Jonathan Krolak made 2 goals, Dustin Peterson made 2 goals and 1 assist. Stacey Anthony made 1 goal. Brittany Bern and Ari Carlson each had one assist. The Robins play Wayzata away next Thursday Feb 24th.

Robins 8-Wayzata 2
The Robins defeated Wayzata 8-2. Josh Bell made 4 goals with 3 assists, Jacob Yurick made 2 goals 1 assist, Dustin Peterson 1 goal, 1 assist, with John Krolak makinh 1 goal. Ryan Degner made one assit and had a great defensive game. Andy Bell made 16 saves. Also playing for the Robins were Rayjahn Hunter, Brittany Bern, Jason Dorr, Steven Snodgrass,and Stacey Anthony. The Robins JV defeated Wayzata 4-2 with Jacob Yurick making 3 goals, Brittany Bern 1 goal with 1 assist. Steven Snodgrass made 4 assists. Also playing for thr Robins was Stacey Anthony and John Mason on defense. Jennifer Dorr, Anne Marie, Dustin Peterson, Rayjahn Hunter all played during the JV game.

Robins 0- Winona 8
The Robins lost their first game of the hockey season to 1st place Winona with a score of 8-0. Andy Bell, Ryan Degner and Sam Harrington each had 3 shots on goal. Josh Bell took 14 shots on goal, Jonathan Krolak took 2 shots while Rayjahn Hunter shot twice and Dustin Peterson shot once. The Robins were unable to make a goal. Also playing for the Robins Varsity was Jacob Yurick. Although this was a defeat, the Robins played with great effort against a team who was able to out score them. Andy Bell made 18 saves in the first 2 periods and was scored on 6 times, while Dustin Peterson made 9 nine saves and was scored on 2 times. For his debut in goal Dustin did a great job. The Robins look forward with opptomism to meeting Winona again,in the final game of the State Hockey tournament. The Robins JV lost to Winona JV, 0-4 John Mason and Jacob Yurick eadch had 3 shots on goal while Stacey Anthony and Dustin Peterson each attempted 1 shot on goal. Also playing for the Robins were Steven Snodgrass in goal with 8 saves, Brittany Bern, Rayjahn Hunter, Jennifer Dorr, Jason Dorr, and Anne Marie Burns. The Robins travel Tuesday 3/2/05 to Dakota County United to play their final game of the regular hockey season. The Robins are looking forward to the State Hockey Tournament March 18 and 19 at Stillwater.

Robins 6- Maple Grove 2
The Robbinsdale, Hopkins, Mound Westonka Robins defeated Maple Grove 6-2 in the opening game of the State Hockey Tournament. Andy Bell had 16 saves as goalie. Josh Bell attempted 13 shots making 4 goals and had 1 assist. Ryan Degner playing both defensive and offense had 12 shots on goal. Dustin Peterson shot 2 times making one assist. Jonathan Krolak shot 3 times making 1 goal. Jacob Yurick shot 7 times making 1 goal. Rayjahn Hunter and Brittany Bern rounded out the Robins offense for the game. Supporting players for the Robinns were John Mason, Steven Snodgrass, Stacey Anthony, Jaosn Dorr, Jennifer Dorr and Ari Carlson. The Robins play Saturday noon in the semi finals against Owatonna. Robins 7-Owatonna 14, Robins 6- St. Cloud 8
The Robins lost the semi finals of the State tournament to Owatonna going down 14-7. Josh Bell scored 3 goals with 1 assit, Ryan Degner scored 1 goal on 1 shot on goal. Sam Harrington scored 1 goal on 2 shots on goal. Dustin Peterson, and Rayjahn Hunter each had 1 shot on goal while Jonathan Krolak had 2 shots on goal. Andy Bell was replaced in goal by Dustin Peterson and Andy made 2 goals and had 1 assist. Dustin while in goal had 6 saves. The Robins went on to play St. Cloud for 3rd place and lost a close heartbreaker by a score of 6-8. Senior Sam Harrington in his last game as a Robins started in goal and made 26 saves. Ryan Degner played center most of the game and had 3 shots on goal while Jonahtan Krolak made 2 goals and 1 assist. Josh and Andy Bell each shot 7 times with Andy making 2 shots and having 2 assists. Joacob Yurick shot 4 times and made 2 goals whiel Rayjaohn Humter had 3 shots. Dustin Peterson played win and had one penalty. On reserve for the Robins were John Mason, Brittany Burns, Steven Snodgrass, Stacey Anthony, Jason Dorr, Jenifer Dorr and Ari Carlson. After coming in 2nd in the conference the Robins ended a very good season in 4th place. It was a great season and the Robins will miss senior Sam Harrington and Ryan Degner as they look forward to next year.

Robins 7- Dakota 5
The Robbinsdale, Hopkins, Mound Westonka Robins defeated Dakota in the last game of the regular hockey season. The Robins go into the State tournament in 2nd place behind their only loss Winona. The Robins ended the first period with a 3-2 lead, Jonathan Krolak started it off with a goal from an assist by Jacob Yurick. In total Jonathan Krolak scored 4 goals. Josh Bell scored 2 goals and Sam Harrington scored 1 goal. Jacob Yurick had 2 assists. Ryan Degner had 2 assists. Dustin Peterson made 3 assists. The Robins out shot Dakota 33 to 32. Rounding out the offense was Rayjahn Hunter. The Robins JV lost to Dakota JV with a score of 2-1. The Robins had several opportunities to score in the last 2 and a half minutes of play. Steve Snodgrass made 4 saves. Jacob Yurick made the only goal for the Robins. The Robins out shot Dakota 18 to 6 but were unable to tie it up in 3 very close shots in the last few seconds of play. Rounding out the Robins lineup were John Mason, Stacey Anthony, Brittany Bern, Jaosn Dorr and Jennifer Dorr. The Robins travel to Stillwater to the State Hockey Tournament March 18 and 19.
